France beat Poland to win TWC

France came from behind to beat Poland 3-1 and become the new world champions in CS:GO (9-16 on de_train, 16-8 on de_dust2, 16-4 on de_cobblestone and 16-14 on de_mirage).
After many highly-contested matches throughout the tournament, the grand final of the World Championships 2015 brought together two national teams who had survived big teams to reach this stage.
The France national team, without a doubt the heavy tournament going into this match, had edged out Sweden by a 2-1 scoreline with their Titan/EnVyUs mixture, while Poland - featuring players from CSGL and Vexed Gaming - had raised eyebrows as they moved past Germany and Russia en route to the title decider.
The opening map of this best-of-five series was de_train, where Poland got off to a fantastic start, picking up ten rounds on the Terrorist side. France sought a response in the second half, but the game petered out for them as Poland did not take long to pick up the six rounds they needed.
France clinch the title
Next up was de_dust2, where the first half was highly contested as only three rounds separated the two teams at the break, with the scoreboard reading 9-6 in favour of France. The second half was purely a demolition job as the Frenchmen conceded just two rounds before sealing a 16-8 victory to level up the series.
de_cobblestone, the third map of the series, was a one-way street from the start. With Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer leading the charge, France cruised to a 16-4 success after picking up a whopping 12 rounds on the Terrorist side.
SZPERO was on point, but it was simply not enough for Poland to win
It all came down to de_mirage, which turned out to be the most interesting match of the entire game. Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek looked determined to put his team back in the game, but not even the 30+ frags from the CSGL AWPer were enough as Poland were downed 14-16 after taking a 9-6 lead at the end of the first half.
